An oak table and a sculptural vase against a sage wall

A new collection launched with a press preview in the workshop itself, and a run of interiors features that followed it through the season.

The brief

Tessmar had a new collection ready for the spring fairs, where every furniture brand competes for the same few interiors editors over the same three days.

What we did

We skipped the fair stand and brought the editors to the workshop instead, a week before the fair opened. Twelve editors spent a day in Jutland, watched a table being finished and had lunch at it. Each left with the story of the tree the collection was cut from.

What ran

Interiors features followed the collection through the season, from the first monthly in April to a weekend supplement in September, and the trade orders from the fair doubled the year before.

Where it ran

  • Danish interiors monthly

    Oak, slowly

  • Design weekly

    Inside the Jutland workshop

  • Weekend supplement

    Furniture to hand down

  • Architecture quarterly

A table made in one tree
