A weekend supplement cover for the founder

The brief

Ondrella’s products were already stocked in good shops, but nobody knew who made them. The founder spent ten years as a cosmetic chemist before leaving to make a range with five ingredients or fewer, and she had never told that story in public.

What we did

We spent two sessions finding the one sentence she could say that nobody else in beauty could. Then we kept her away from product launches and pitched her as a voice on ingredients, booked her on two podcasts and offered one weekend editor a day in her kitchen lab.

What ran

The weekend supplement put her on the cover. A long read, two podcasts and a monthly beauty feature followed in the same quarter, and online sales doubled in the month after the cover.
